Benso Oil Palm Plantation Limited (BOPP) is a Ghanaian company involved in the growing and processing of oil palms. The company was incorporated in 1976 jointly by Unilever Plc and the Government of Ghana and listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange on the 30th of August, 2004. In 2011, Wilmar International Limited, a Singaporean agribusiness group, acquired a majority stake in BOPP.
The company grows oil palms and processes palm fruits to products such as RBD Palm Oil and RBD Palm Olein. The products are mostly sold to its parent company, Wilmar, and marketed in the West African region.
