Unilever Ghana Limited is the Ghanaian subsidiary of the multinational Unilever Plc group and is a leading manufacturer of fast-moving consumer goods in Ghana. The company was formed in 1992 through the merger of the two Unilever Plc subsidiaries UAC Ghana Limited and Lever Brothers Ghana Limited. Unilever Ghana was listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange on the 23rd August 1991.
The company manufactures and markets a wide range of food, drink, home care and personal care products. Unilever's brands include Lipton tea, Rama and Blue Band margarine, Omo washing products, Signal and Close Up toothpaste, Lux personal hygiene products and Sun soap.
